Guangzhou Metro Fire Escape Immersive Training System
1:1 simulated carriage · sound, light and electric five-sense linkage · learn escape by living it · strengthen skills through engaging learning
Background BACKGROUND
- Preachy explanations, passive reception, forgotten right after viewing
- No real fire scene atmosphere, lacking urgency and immersion
- Without hands-on practice, escape skills remain on paper.
- No assessment feedback; impossible to know whether learning has been achieved
- Immersive Fire Scene, Five-Sense Memory, Lasting Impression
- Hands-on operation of emergency door opening / fire extinguisher, skills put into practice
- Intelligently judges each step action, with immediate prompt and correction for mistakes
- Escape + Assessment Closed Loop, Scores Quantifiable and Assessable
Traditional safety education relies mainly on display boards, videos, and oral explanations. Audiences receive information passively, lacking a sense of realism and participation, so escape skills are difficult to truly master. This system uses a 1:1 simulated carriage + integrated sound, light, and electrical effects engaging all five senses, allowing every participant to 'personally experience' a subway fire and develop real skills in a tense yet safe environment.
Architecture ARCHITECTURE
Experience EXPERIENCE
Immersion IMMERSION
Fire alarm sound, broadcast evacuation guidance voice (AI voiceover), fire extinguisher operation sound effects, ambient sound.
Fire red ambient lights, flame images on vehicle window screens, main lighting automatically switches to emergency dim light, floor evacuation indicator light strips.
The smoke machine releases smoke to simulate a dense-smoke environment, while the hot air blower raises the temperature to simulate the high heat of a fire scene, linked with the electric door / emergency door release device.
Sensor signals such as alarm button, emergency door opening, and fire extinguisher retrieval are connected to the PLC, triggering sound, light, and electrical effects and synchronously sending data to the software for judgment and scoring.

Core components COMPONENTS
The “nerve center” of the entire system, integrating control circuits and power modules, uniformly triggers the linkage of flame lamps, smoke machines, hot air blowers, and sound-light alarms.
The simulated flickering red firelight, combined with the flame images on the vehicle window screens, creates a realistic fire scene light-and-shadow atmosphere.
High-power rapid release of simulated smoke simulates a smoke-filled fire environment, combined with red light and alarm sound, restoring the oppressive feeling of a real fire scene.
Generates hot air to simulate the temperature rise of a fire scene, completing the 'tactile / thermal' experience in five-sense immersion.
Software SOFTWARE
Touchscreen starts the experience, switches six scenes, real-time status monitoring, score management, one-touch operation.
Digital human avatar explains escape knowledge, voice guides each step of operation, and provides interactive Q&A.
Whether operations such as sensor detection alarm, fire extinguisher use, and emergency door opening are correct; instant prompts for mistakes; actions are scored.
20-question safety knowledge quiz, random questions each time + options shuffled randomly, answer with countdown timer.
Step-by-step evacuation instructions and operation step prompts; after scene transition, a task panel pops up and disappears after use without interfering with the experience.
Escape time + action correctness rate + quiz score are aggregated; pass line is configurable; scores are displayed on large screen.

Value VALUE
Five-sense immersion, deep impression The five senses of sight, hearing, touch, temperature, and smoke work together, turning “viewing a display board” into a “firsthand experience”.
Hands-on operation, skills put into practice Pull the alarm, take the fire extinguisher, and open the emergency door yourself; every step is intelligently assessed, and mistakes are corrected immediately.
AI guidance, technology empowerment AI digital human guide + intelligent assessment + data-driven scores; science popularization education also has a technological feel.
Closed-loop scoring, quantifiable Escape time, action accuracy rate, and quiz scores are recorded throughout; learning outcomes are clear at a glance.
A repeatable “Subway Fire Real-Scene Classroom” that brings safety knowledge to life and helps build escape skills through practice.
